We are proud to provide our customers with a growing product line of custom color matched products. We have custom color caulking. We have custom color aerosols. We also distribute Tobias Stucco and Skimstone lines of products.  We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase from us, but we need to explain a few things about the nature of our industry.

Matching a color caulk or aerosol at first seems an easy task, but as we researched the process we have discovered several factors that may or may not matter depending on the application you are trying to meet. Factors such as the sheen of the dried product, that is whether it it flat or glossy or somewhere in between. Do you need a acrylic or a silicone caulk? Are you trying to match a specific color such as a "Ralph Lauren"? Is the product you are trying to match mixed in the original base or is it a color match done by another paint store. Will the color match have to be perfect?

It is important to note also that people vary as to their ability to distinguish between slight variations in color. We have discovered that in most cases our products meet or exceed the needs of the job at hand. But it would be unrealistic to say that in all cases the caulk or aerosol will blend "Invisibly" next to the original color. Take for instance a manufacturer of vinyl siding and guttering. They may have half a dozen color choices for their customers. It is our experience that as they produce material the colors are slightly different from run to run. Some are a little darker or have a trace more yellow to them. Whether the caulking we produce for now will match the same manufacturers siding in three months is difficult to say. We can say it will still be far closer than anything you can buy at the hardware store and the slight difference in color may not even be visible except upon very close scrutiny. Other factors such as age, exposure to sunlight, surface texture all come into play as to how we perceive color. This is not an exhaustive discourse on the issues of color matching, but just a little insight into the reality of the process.

As we said, most of the time this will not even matter in the choice of product. But we want to educate our customers about the qualities of our products and their intended uses and not misrepresent ourselves. We package first rate products in Aerosols and Caulking, and we will work hard to satisfy every need our customers have.
